The Turkish parliament is very likely to ratify the protocol on Finland's membership in NATO before the May 14 elections. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to a deputy from the ruling party.

Earlier, TRT Haber reported that the protocol on Finland's accession to NATO was submitted to the Presidium of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (Turkish Parliament). Before that, it was signed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
