Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that Moscow would continue to seek answers to questions about the explosions on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines, despite Denmark's refusal to jointly investigate. The corresponding statement was published on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

According to her, the Russian Foreign Ministry has repeatedly commented on the actions of the Danish authorities on gas pipelines, however, so far, the authorities of the kingdom have not responded to any of Moscow's requests and have not presented the results of the investigations.

“Despite the refusal of the Danish side to jointly investigate sabotage, the Russian Foreign Ministry will continue to seek answers from Copenhagen to the questions posed earlier. “Sweep under the carpet” this issue will not succeed, ”stressed Maria Zakharova.

She also stated that only an open investigation with the participation of the Russian Federation can identify those responsible for sabotage at Nord Stream.

Earlier, Danish Foreign Minister Lars Lekke Rasmussen said that Copenhagen would not allow Russia to take part in the investigation into the Nord Stream explosions.
