Foreign Minister Sameh Shukri said that Cairo intends to fully normalize relations with Ankara. It is reported by Reuters.

He stated this during a joint press conference in Cairo with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.

Shukri noted that negotiations with Turkish colleagues on bilateral ties were "deep and transparent."

Cavusoglu said he was happy to take concrete steps to normalize relations between the two countries. According to him, Ankara and Cairo will cooperate more in the future.
